Re-reading ex-entries

Yesterday, when I was talking to low on msn, I commented to him that we had been blogging for a year now. I could still remember the day when lene told me to help her to set up a blog and said that we could share it or something. So it started . . .

There were entries full of emotions, entries commenting about life, school, NS, friends, entries ranting about the problems we encounter in our daily life. Somehow when you read some of the entries back then, it was interesting and somewhat amusing at the same time. You could not believe about the kind of things you rant about back then.

On Nov 05, we just completed our A levels back then, a sigh of relief from everyone. Everyone was looking forward to enjoy themselves now that the worst was over. We went to town, shop, watch movies, contemplated about what to wear for prom. Lene was thinking aloud about what hairstyle she should have. I could still remember fondly the cute girl from topshop, her face seems sketchy in my mind now. Lolx. The many basketball sessions we had at hougang . . . it seems a thing of the past now . . . Suddenly people started enlisting for NS. Slowly, there were lesser and lesser people hanging around until it was my turn. I was probably the last to be enlisted.

A level result
was released in March. Some were happy, some disappointed, others just contented with their result. We talked about what course we should choose, some already had something in mind, others still clueless.

After a long time, I finally enlisted. I had quite a time in the island, the punishment, the routine life, the lack of freedom and the thing all rec dread, the confinment. For quite a while, we talked, breathe and live army. Whenever we were out, our topics somehow revolve around it. (It is still somewhat true now, haha) We all POP and got posted to different units. In command school, training to be future leaders. Or in units, specializing in different trade.

Den came august, cheryl announced that she will be coming back to visit us. 3a had a gathering, not bad . . . quite a few attended.

September . . . Low had trouble finding a partner for his wing's social night. Haha, he was getting desperate.

There was quite a hiatus from our usual gathering. People were busy. Only a few of us still met up frequently. It was hard to have everyone appear at a particular place at a same time.

Rainy Christmas then came and left. But the rain continues even as Santa went back home.
