Walk we did
Yesterday we had a gathering of sorts at adelene's birthday celebration at the nsrcc chalet. It was good to see everyone again, especially the usually mia people.
First of all the chalet was a good one, nice bungalow, with two storeys and a cool spiral stairscase to boot, which reminds of the ones in zhonghua. But the sole sore point was that the chalet was in some freaking ulu eastern part of Singapore, it's really neither here nor there. And we even managed to miss the bus which results in us walking to find some civilization.
We walked out to the main road, and saw the runway of changi airport, turn left and we will go to ECP, the only choice was to turn right. Luckily on our journey to find the nearest bus stop, some of us manage to hop on a cab and got out of no mans' land first. The rest struggled on. After walking down one whole stretch of road, we turned right and walked down another whole stretch, we finally found salvation. We reached the nearest bus stop, at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
During an hour or so of walking, we saw quite a few people fishing, armed with fishing rods, drinks and some snacks. Seems like a cool way to chill out, enjoying the sea breeze, food and the company of your best mates.
