ntu also need interview

NTU has just taken out a leaf from SMU book and seem to decide that she wants to interview her applicants too. I have so far heard that both the Business and the Chemistry and Biological Science. Im sure that there are other more courses that requires interview too. Somehow I felt cheated, because they never mention about any interviews at all. OK, maybe the more likely reason is Im scared because I will flop in it.

Gone are the days when they only look at your A level results. Now they want the person with the right character traits, good in CCAs and even better if he posses leadership quality, all rounded students. With brains and brawns and more.

But Im not too sure if everyone are all rounders and can think and speak well.

Are those who are intelligent and possess critical thinking skills yet not speak/communicate well with people going to be penalised? They most likely will flop at the interviews, will they be shown the door? Following my logic, will Albert Enisten be rejected? (ok, maybe thats too far fetched)

Will those who can talk/"smoke" well able to bluff their way through?

Im sure you all have seen people who can talk well yet did little or dun seem to posses any exceptional intelligence able to bluff their way through interviews or presentations.

Being hardworking isnt good enough anymore.

Try your best they always say.

Your best just aint enough now.

Now must know how to wayang, brag about your capability.

Wayang society indeed.
