Another big whoo-ha

Remember not too long ago, when the PAP town councils revealed that they had actually invested part of their sinking funds in the lehman brothers products. And there was a big uproar when it was revealed that the town councils had managed to amass a large sum of money, in millions in their sinking funds, in the name for saving for long term upgrading projects and that they were heavily criticized for being too unsympathetic to the citizens' comments that town councils should not invest in such risky financial products.

Now it seems, there will be another uproar.

It seems The Online Citizen, TOC, a social-political blog has an exclusive.

To quote from the article, 'TOC reader Roland Soh sent an email to his MP, Dr Ahmad Magad of Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC. He was shocked with the reply: instead of giving him a comprehensive answer, the reply contained an email to a person called Wei Kin. This, we believe, is the General Manager/Secretary of the Pasir-Ris Punggol Town Council, Ms Kwok Wei Kin'

If its been confirmed to be true, oh my, it will certainly be another big whoo-ha.
