2/3 more to go . . .
I have so far went for two papers so far. Couple of stuns, shock, pain, agony and finally disillusionment. The 2hours seems like a thrilling roller coaster ride. It's like you are in Jurrasic park and suddenly all hell break loose.
Strangely though, all the questions that I had done for practice did not come out at all. All the questions in the paper were either a wicked twist of the usual standard questions or some totally new questions conjured out of nowhere. Somehow the usual method of practising lots and lots of questions that I have known and became skilled at, failed me at this critical junction. Now I realize understanding the fundamental concepts and learning to apply it is more important than mindless practising.
Anyway there's this show called 心晴大动员 on channel 8, showing at Monday, 8pm. It is quite a good show, every week the hosts and a couple of volunteers will visit a certain family that isn't doing too well in life and try to revamp their home by making it a better living environment or try to solve some of their problems or to fufil their wishlist. The people they were trying to help often shown great strength, resilience, optimism and they never gave up even though their life seems so much tougher than us. We can definitely learn alot from them in this particular aspect. Looking at them, somehow the daily struggles and problems we face everyday seems so insignificant.
That's all for now . . . back to study.
