Are you prepared?
Since Low has made his reappearance in this blog, i guess i should do my job as one of the yaoguis. lol, i haven done so in the longest period of time because i just couldn't remember the password. Dumb. no doubt i'm busy with my work, with the different 21st birthday parties. I've attended quite a number till date. School's gonna reopen soon, in fact i've been waiting for this. Working life is mundane. seriously, you wouldn't find the energy to go out after work. At least for me i couldn't do that.
Talking about school, i realised i didn't really have a lot of friends that i can proudly present to you. The thing is, life in nus for me is just the few of gfs hanging out together, attend lectures together, attend tutorials and not forgetting to eat. Well maybe we'll study together and once in a really blue moon, we'll hang out after school. Favourite hangout place will be at bugis. Probably because i do not attend the orientation week , camp and all. i missed it all, i don't know howdid i do that, but yea, im super blur. Lol, let's touch on the topic, food.
You can't imagine what i have been eating every week in school.
Breakfast: Either Donuts, Waffle, Soya Bean Drink
Lunch:
mon laksa, tues claypot beef, wed no sch, thur laksa, fri western.
yeah our school have like a total of 30over stalls, but i only patronise these few stalls
and i survived like 2years already!
There's one stall, super short queue, no no queue at all! It's the pasta stall. I think, i rather starve for a longer time queuing for other food than to eat the pasta. it sucked.
So how have you guys been preparing for school. I hope you all get use to the mugging soon. Be it NTU or NUS, please work hard. Don't be like me, lol slacking and sleeping in lectures. -.-
Things to note that is,
1) plan your time table well
Back to Back lectures are tiring. I've experienced rushing here and there, in the end, i just take my own sweet time. Yes im guilty of it..
2) Choose your module wisely, do not jump into Singapore studies modules.
Failed it. A good thing is i SU the module, bad thing is i nd to retake another module
3) Be friendly
Seriously, get to know more friends, they can help you. especially know more seniors, they are more experienced.
4) Do not be afraid to ask
Ask the lecturers whatever questions you have, clarify everything, do not wait till the exams is coming and you panick, no use at all.
5) This is applicable for me, do not touch any programming modules!
They usually need a lot of time, and also, it's tough, i almost died in it.
My Degree is 3 years solely because i didn't work hard enough to aim for the 4th year.
So work hard people (:
